Carvis' vision

Carvis develops and markets steerable skates. Customers will be served with innovative products which provide a high level of usefulness, ergonomy, longevity and fun.

History in brief

2002

Carvis was founded by the physicist Wolfram M.P. Gorisch (German, Munich).

Carvis' business is based on a unique proprietary technology which uses the idea of the steerable truck known from skateboards and roller skates although giving the wheels the freedom of sideways lean. As a consequence, the new skates combine the ease of inline skating with the maneuverability of roller skating. Thus a completely new class of carver skates emerge, which unveil a range of unique properties.

2003

At the ispo brandnew competition in June 2003 Carvis received a finalist's award. At this trade show carvis disclosed its initial product range to the public. Starting with this occasion, Carvis intends to investigate the market and build an own business. Carvis is also looking for partners, who want to take part in the development of this amazing novel product range.

Outlook

2004

Establish the ability for mass production. Initiate relationship to industry partners.
